A HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Dreams are made of these ... a place to enjoy a coffee and a chat with friends while listening to the creative genius of jazz bassists like Stanley Clarke, Ray Brown, Jaco Pastorius, Ron Carter, Christian McBride, Paul Chambers, Victor Wooten and, of course, many others.

As a bass guitarist, it seems I have spent my whole life pursuing the dream of walking in their footsteps — one bass line at a time. So finally, after much solo jamming and melodic meandering, I have built this virtual destination where I can publish my small contribution to a much-valued art form.

And, who knows, maybe someday there may actually be a Bass Jazz Café  tucked away in some little corner of the Cours Julien neighborhood in Marseille. One can only dream,  or ...
